As a structural social worker, I acknowledge how economic, political, environmental and social conditions impact one’s physical, mental, emotional and spiritual wellbeing. I take this into account, making my therapeutic approach trauma-informed, strengths-based and anti-oppressive. I have experience counselling folks who have problem substance use, and offer both harm reduction and abstinent based support. As a Master of Social Work student completing a clinical psychotherapy practicum, some of the modalities that I am interested in include Relational Therapy, Narrative Therapy and Feminist Therapy. I believe that relational connection is important in a therapeutic practice, starting with the therapeutic relationship between client and therapist. Together, we can explore your story, in a non-judgemental environment.

I have been doing support work since 2017, starting as a trans peer support worker. I graduated from Carleton University with a Bachelor of Social Work in 2020, gaining experience as a Youth Worker, Counsellor and Adult Addictions Counsellor. I am currently completing an online Master of Social Work degree at Dalhousie University, and will be completing my practicum placement in clinical psychotherapy at Umbrella Insights under the supervision of Katherine Van Meyl (CRPO #15312) from September 2026 to April 2027.

I describe myself as a franco-ontarian Mad Crip Queer who is passionate about disability justice, LGBTQIA2S+ rights, the decriminalization of sex work and drugs, land back (globally) and the fight against gender-based violence.

I have worked with people of various backgrounds and take a special interest in individuals and couples who are neurodivergent, have experienced trauma, live with a disability, practice non-monogamy and/or engage in sex work. I work with people ages 16 and up. I am available in-person for couple’s therapy. I am available in-person and virtually for individual therapy.

Accessibility

The building has a few stairs outside to walk up to the building, as well as around a dozen wooden stairs to get to the second floor. I take covid precautions by masking indoors and in large outdoor crowds, and by having an air purifier running in my office. For clients, masking is encouraged but not mandatory.
